At York Dress, your satisfaction is our priority. If you are not completely happy with your purchase, we're here to help. Please read our return policy carefully before submitting a return request.
1. Return Window
We accept returns within 15 days of the delivery date. To be eligible for a return, your request must be submitted within this 15-day window. Requests made after this period will not be accepted.
2. Eligibility Conditions
To qualify for a return, items must meet the following conditions:
- Item is in its original, unworn, and unwashed condition
- All original tags are still attached
- Item is free from perfume, makeup, deodorant, or any other stains
- Item is returned in its original packaging
The following items are non-returnable:
- Sale or final sale items
- Intimates, swimwear, and accessories (for hygiene reasons)
- Items marked as non-returnable at the time of purchase
- Gift cards
3. How to Initiate a Return
To start a return, please follow these steps:
- Email us at support@yorkdress.com within 15 days of receiving your order
- Include your order number, the item(s) you wish to return, and the reason for the return
- Our team will review your request and respond within 1–2 business days with return instructions
- Ship the item back using a trackable shipping method. Return shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer unless the item is defective or incorrect
4. Refunds
Once we receive and inspect your returned item, we will notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund.
- If approved, your refund will be processed to your original payment method within 5–7 business days
- Please note that original shipping fees are non-refundable
- Depending on your bank or payment provider, it may take additional time for the refund to appear in your account
5. Exchanges
We currently do not offer direct exchanges. If you would like a different size or color, please return the original item (subject to our return conditions) and place a new order for the desired item.
6. Defective or Incorrect Items
If you received a defective, damaged, or incorrect item, please contact us immediately at support@yorkdress.com with your order number and photos of the item. We will arrange a replacement or full refund at no additional cost to you.
